主讲人简介:

王仁诚副教授于2019年加入新加坡管理大学。在此之前,他在香港科技大学获得博士学位,并在澳大利亚昆士兰大学和墨尔本大学任职。王仁诚的研究兴趣广泛,特别是关于会计与金融之间的交叉课题。他的论文发表在Journal of Accounting Research、Journal of Accounting and Economics、以及The Accounting Review等各大学术期刊。

活动简介:

Over the past decade, social media has played an increasingly crucial role in the dissemination of information, undermining firms’ control over their information environment. Social media platforms also enable empower employees to anonymously share a wide range of information in the reviews about their employers. The scope of information extends beyond encompasses not only details about wages, but also various non-wage aspects of workplace practices, such as work-life balance, workplace safety, culture and values, and career opportunities. Recent research suggests that the increased enhanced workplace transparency encourages firms to improve their workplace practices to maintain their attractiveness to current and potential employees in the labor market. Despite the widespread use of these social media platforms as a source of information, there are concerns about potential information manipulation. This study aims to present systematic evidence regarding the influence of labor market incentives on the workplace information management on social media.
